At RSR Web Hosting, we understand that this can often be difficult & time–consuming. This is why we’ll perform all that for you for free!Our practiced technical staff will migrate your website content from your present provider to us. Our technicians have got lots of experience with website migration and can handle anything – from a conventional WordPress–powered blog or Joomla^™ CMS–driven web site, to a highly elaborate, custom–built app.

A: There are a lot of factors to take into account – the total number of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the current workload of our website migration professionals, etc. That said, we do our best to accomplish all web site migrations within a 48–hour window. Less sizeable sites are transferred faster – typically in less than 24 hours.

A: We don’t gather any personal info. We’ll require, though, the login info for your current hosting account and the name of the web site that you would like to move.

A: Customer privacy is among our top priorities – that’s why, both our payment page and our CP login page are secured with enterprise–grade digital certificates. We use security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and administrative operations to secure the info that we acquire on the Internet. A: While we transfer your web site, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your former hosting provider. As soon as the migration is completed, we will make sure that everything is functioning correctly and that the integrity of your web content is not compromised prior to informing you that the transfer is over. Then we’ll explain to you how to transfer the domain name to your web hosting account with us and how to modify the DNS settings.

A: Nope. Aside from your login info for the Control Panel, we will not require anything. We’ll never get in touch with your web hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the transfer either.

A: We support all Linux–driven web hosting platforms. Essentially, if we can gain access to your Control Panel, we will be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source website management platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
