A catch-all functionality that is enabled for a certain e-mailbox will permit you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. Since you may start receiving unsolicited emails, you can use the catch-all functionality with anti-spam filtering software in order to receive only authentic messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.

In case you host a domain on our cloud hosting platform and you have a cloud hosting account, you’ll be able to activate the catch-all feature for any email mailbox that you create under the domain. The Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section offers quite a lot of functions, but it’s astonishingly simple to work with, so creating a catch-all mailbox takes only one single click. All the email addresses that you have created will be displayed in this section alphabetically and you’ll just need to click the "Catch-all" button for the particular address. Our system will notify you if there is already another catch-all mailbox enabled for that domain name or if the one that you’d like to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding activated, so you can either turn off the latter feature or select another mailbox. Deactivating the catch-all feature is just as simple and requires one more mouse click on the exact same button.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The catch-all functionality can be enabled without effort in case you have a semi-dedicated server plan with our company. All the email addresses that you’ve created using the domains hosted in your account will be displayed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you’ll see a mini icon handily located right next to each one of them. With just one single click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your desire on the condition that there isn't another mailbox under the same domain name with this option already enabled and there isn't enabled email forwarding. Instead, you can right-click on a mailbox and enable this feature using the context menu that will show up. If any of the requirements for creating a catch-all mailbox is not answered, our system will warn you, but will not replace or disable anything automatically.
