No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Cloud Hosting
We warrant the integrity of the data uploaded in every cloud hosting account that is generated on our cloud platform since we use the advanced ZFS file system. The latter is the only one which was designed to avoid silent data corruption using a unique checksum for every single file. We'll store your information on a large number of NVMe drives which work in a RAID, so identical files will be present on several places concurrently. ZFS checks the digital fingerprint of all files on all the drives in real time and in case the checksum of any file is different from what it should be, the file system replaces that file with an undamaged version from another drive in the RAID. There's no other file system that uses checksums, so it's easy for data to become silently corrupted and the bad file to be duplicated on all drives with time, but since that can never happen on a server running ZFS, you won't have to concern yourself with the integrity of your info.
No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Hosting
In case you obtain one of our semi-dedicated hosting solutions, you won't need to be concerned about silent data corruption because we use ZFS - a high level file system that keeps track of all of the files in real time. Every time you upload a file to your account, ZFS will assign a unique digital fingerprint to it - the so-called checksum. This file will be synchronized between several NVMe drives for redundancy, so if a drive fails, the other ones will take over. ZFS compares the checksum of all copies on the different drives and when it detects a damaged copy, it replaces it with a healthy one from a different drive. This happens immediately, so there will be no danger for any part of your content at any time. In contrast, all of the other file systems perform checks after a system malfunction, but since they do not use anything similar to the checksums which ZFS uses, they will not detect silently corrupted files, so a bad copy may be replicated on the remaining drives as well and you could lose critical information. As this isn't the case with ZFS, we guarantee the integrity of each file you upload no matter what.
